What Guests Often
Ask Before They Arrive
Useful to know in advance
A few practical details, answered with the same clarity and restraint as the experience itself.
Reservations are not required; however, the restaurant is consistently busy, particularly during peak periods and high season. To guarantee a table and avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend making a reservation in advance. Walk-in guests are always welcome, but availability cannot be guaranteed, and the restaurant is often fully booked.
We do offer vegetarian options within our menu. For specific allergies, intolerances, or dietary requirements, guests are kindly asked to contact us in advance, as accommodation may vary depending on the request and kitchen capabilities. Please note that dishes cannot be prepared without garlic or onion, as these ingredients form part of the foundational seasoning and preparation across our kitchen.
Yes, our venue is easily accessible; however, entry is only permitted through the Brașov entrance to the Brașov Mountains. Guests may arrive by private car or taxi and should proceed directly to the Visitor Center.
Upon arrival, vehicles can be parked in the designated parking area, or guests may be dropped off at the Visitor Center entrance. From there, guests are required to obtain a Brașov Mountains entry ticket at the ticketing windows before continuing onward.
Once inside the site, a shuttle bus service is available and will take guests directly to Casa Hirscher.
To make arrival smoother and reduce waiting time, we recommend purchasing Brașov Mountains tickets online in advance via the official booking platform.
There is no formal dress code; however, we encourage guests to dress in a manner that reflects the atmosphere of the restaurant and the cultural significance of its surroundings. As Casa Hirscher is located within an archaeological setting, we kindly ask guests to dress respectfully and modestly. Smart casual attire is recommended to complement the dining experience and setting.
Children are welcome at the restaurant. As we are a fine dining destination designed around a calm and refined atmosphere, we kindly ask that children remain under the supervision of their parents at all times. To ensure an enjoyable experience for all guests, we request that noise levels and movement around the restaurant are kept to a minimum. In cases where children become disruptive to the dining environment, families may be kindly asked to step outside briefly until the child has settled.
There is no official minimum charge at Casa Hirscher. However, guests may wish to note that the average spend for breakfast is approximately EGP 1,500++ per person. For lunch, a curated set menu is available, starting from EGP 1,950++ per person. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes and service charges.
Please note that we operate as a full dining restaurant. Guests are therefore kindly expected to dine when seated within the restaurant. Those wishing to enjoy drinks only are welcome to do so within the designated bar area, subject to availability.
For any questions, special requests, or general inquiries, guests may contact us through our enquiry form. Simply submit your details and message, and a member of our team will respond as soon as possible.
